I Love What I Do!  My practice is based upon Oriental Medicine (acupuncture and herbal medicine) along with Reiki and intuition. My goal is to create a harmonious environment that allows healing within each patient. When energetic harmony is activated, the bodies innate healing abilities can begin to generate health from the inside. I enjoy being part of a person’s healing community and watching people claim back their joy in living.
Illness and pain often occur when we run ourselves down physically, mentally and/or emotionally, or spiritually. Poor stress management is the main root cause of most illnesses and injuries. My goal is to help people to find their “whole” self again and realize that they have the power to transform their lives into a healthy and vital way of being.

My philosophy:  The acupuncture “technique” or theory doesn’t define the best healing.  Most licensed
acupuncturists are well trained in the method they learned or experienced.  I am a Healer! My style is much more than just a technique.  Over the years, my skills in intuition and understanding of energy
medicine have grown immensely and have enabled me to connect with each patient and work in their highest good.  I teach  patients how to feel and work with their own bodies’ and I suggest “homework” on claiming back their health or maintaining the vitality they enjoy.  We are all grand cosmic beings and when we live in alignment with this, we are limitless!

Personal:  I am happily married for close to 30 years. We have two children, both of whom are grown and now in the college phase of their lives.  I grew up in a small town in Iowa.  My husband and I met in college at Iowa State University.  We have been fortunate to have lived in various places in the United States as well as overseas in Saudi Arabia and the UK.  Currently we enjoy living in Colorado and have been here since 2006.

My Secret to Success:

I believe that every person carries his or her own doctor inside.  It is amazing how much happier the general experience of life becomes when your body is given a chance to develop its own healing strength. Preventative health care and living in alignment with nature and loving well: yourself, friends and family are the most powerful ways to live fully and abundantly.
